Jessica Jenkins, MS
Project DirectorJessica has worked in the field of addictions research for over 15 years. She received her BS in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and completed her MS in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University, Northridge. Jessica has extensive experience in managing several large-scale clinical trials and currently oversees research activities and compliance of regulatory requirements in the UCLA Addictions Lab. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys playing with her two children, watching movies, cooking and sleeping.
Xuan Nguyen, BA
graduated from UCLA in 2015 as a Psychology major with a minor in
Education Studies. Her previous research experience involves looking at
early biomarkers of autism in infant siblings. She recently joined the
lab post-graduation and oversees the administration of the lab. Xuan
plans to attend graduate school for clinical psychology, with an
interest in neurodevelopmental disorders. In her free time, she enjoys
eating, photography, and binge watching 12 tv shows.
Taylor started in the lab at the end of her sophomore year
and graduated with a psychology major and a philosophy minor. She rejoined the
lab after graduation and is currently managing the "Naltrexone for Asian
Americans" study. She is interested in the processes involved in changing from
recreational drug users to addicts, and ultimately the treatment of addiction.
In the future, she hopes to attend graduate school and work in a rehabilitation
center. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, hiking, and spending
time with friends and family.
