Steven received his B.A. in Biological Psychology from CSU, San Bernardino. As an undergraduate, he led projects examining the long-term consequences of adolescent Prozac exposure in mice. Steven received his Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Houston. His dissertation work involves using animal models to investigate behavioral and epigenetic consequences of paternal alcohol use. Overall, he is interested in learning clinical neuroscience techniques to translate preclinical theories of addiction to the human laboratory. He currently assists on the DDA Alcohol study.
